Functionalized layered double hydroxide nanoparticles as an intelligent nanoplatform for synergistic photothermal therapy and chemotherapy of tumors.

Yuhan Ye, Li-Min Zhu et 5 al.

Dec 7, 2021 in Colloids and surfaces. B, Biointerfaces
In this work, a novel layered double hydroxide (LDH)-based multifunctional nanoplatform was built for synergistic photothermal therapy (PTT)/chemotherapy. The platform was modified using the peptide B3int to target cancer cells with overexpression of integrin αvβ3. Indocyanine green (ICG) and doxorubicin (DOX) were loaded into the nanocarrier (LDH-PEG-B3int NPs) to form a system having a high drug...

Roton pair density wave and unconventional strong-coupling superconductivity in a topological kagome metal

Hui Chen, Hong-Jun Gao et 23 al.

Mar 16, 2021 in Arxiv
The transition-metal kagome lattice materials host frustrated, correlated, and topological quantum states of matter. Recently, a new family of vanadium-based kagome metals AV3Sb5 (A=K, Rb, and Cs) with topological band structures has been discovered. These layered compounds are nonmagnetic and undergo charge density wave transitions before developing superconductivity at low temperatures. Here we ...

Construction of Nano Carriers Coated with Platelet Membrane and Its Application in Targeted Therapy of Inflammation

Dandan Ren, Li-Min Zhu et 5 al.

Sep 25, 2021 in Nano
Nano, Ahead of Print. In this study, poly (lactic acid glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanoparticles loaded with anti inflammatory drug ketoprofen (KET) were prepared and then coated with platelet membrane (PLTM) to form KET@PLTM PLGA nano particles (NPs). The particle size of the KET@PLTM PLGA NPs is 176nm and the surface protein is the same as that of PLTM. The results of confocal microscopy and flow cyto...

Preparation and physical properties of TMT-TTF-C60Br6 Langmuir-Blodgett film

Yufang Xiao, Zhongqi Yao et 2 al.

Jun 1, 1995 in Thin Solid Films
The synthesis of a new family of charge-transfer complexes derived from fullerene is described. The formation of a charge-transfer complex is confirmed by UV-visible electronic spectroscopy. The formation of a Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) film and the characterization of the LB film of the complex are studied. Conductivity of the LB film of the complex depends on the thickness of the LB film.

Atomic mechanisms of fast diffusion of large atoms in Germanium

Yuhan Ye, Jun-Wei Luo et 2 al.

Nov 25, 2018 in Arxiv
The performance of strained silicon as the channel material for transistors has plateaued. Motivated by increasing charge-carrier mobility within the device channel to improve transistor performance, germanium (Ge) is considered as an attractive option as a silicon replacement due to its highest p-type mobility in all of the known semiconductor materials and being compatible with today`s conventio...

Berberine Prolongs Mouse Heart Allograft Survival by Activating T Cell Apoptosis via the Mitochondrial Pathway.

Yunhan Ma et 11 al.

Feb 25, 2021 in Frontiers in immunology
Berberine, which is a traditional Chinese medicine can inhibit tumorigenesis by inducing tumor cell apoptosis. However, the immunoregulatory of effects berberine on T cells remains poorly understood. Here, we first examined whether berberine can prolong allograft survival by regulating the recruitment and function of T cells. Using a major histocompatibility complex complete mismatch mouse heterot...
