The synthesis of a new family of charge-transfer complexes derived from fullerene is described. The formation of a charge-transfer complex is confirmed by UV-visible electronic spectroscopy. The formation of a Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) film and the characterization of the LB film of the complex are studied.
